A2X + Cin7 Core Integration Setup

A2X + Cin7 Core Integration Setup

Running both A2X and Cin7 Core has always come with a frustrating tradeoff: let Cin7 post sales, and you’d get duplicate revenue entries; manage it manually, and something would eventually slip.

That tradeoff is gone.

An update to Cin7 Core now lets you turn off sales posting while keeping Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) posting on, which means A2X handles revenue, and Cin7 handles inventory, with zero overlap.

What you get with A2X and Cin7 Core:

  • A2X owns revenue: Tidy sales and fee summaries post from A2X and match your bank feed perfectly
  • Cin7 Core owns inventory: Accurate COGS and inventory adjustments post from Cin7, untouched by A2X
  • Zero overlap: Clean separation between the two systems, with no duplicate entries or manual cleanup required

To set it up, disable Sales Invoice Posting in your Cin7 Core integration settings (leave COGS enabled), then go to Settings → Cost of Goods Sold in A2X and disable COGS. Read the helpdesk article on A2X and Cin7 Core for a full walkthrough.
