eBay New Transaction Type: Loans

eBay New Transaction Type: Loans

eBay allows sellers to take loans and make repayments through the payout balance. There have been some recent changes to the eBay API which means A2X can now capture this data and include it in your entries.

The additional transaction category is called ‘eBay loans’. A2X will now capture both the loan and the repayment amount. Prior to eBay loans, A2X didn’t create a liability account as part of the default accounts. If you already have your accounts and taxes mapped and you don’t have an eBay liability account. you may need to create a new account with your accounting software. Once this is done, refresh your connection in A2X under settings > connections. From there, you will be able to map eBay loans to the liability account. If you don’t have any existing eBay loan transactions, you might also have the option to automap these transactions for the future. Otherwise, you can wait until this data appears in your account, and map it then.
